If you need help with the reps, make sure to join us on teamspeak! There are plenty of ways to speed things up, and usually some folks more than happy to join in on some extra marks!

You know, you guys never did upgrade your kit requirements for season 9. With the new higher difficulties are you guys going to be revising your gear requirements?

Mostly just curious. Already gone through the recruit stage a couple times already then given the boot later.

The short answer to that question is yes. And we will work through the details and have the new requirements released on or by October 14th.

As Bill mentioned: Requirements didn't need to be changed for season 9 since, frankly, they didn't change in game. Borg were still Borg, and if you can blast them to smithereens then you're probably just fine.

As for being given the boot, ESF has numerous requirements, chief of which is activity and participation, which is done through a variety of different mediums such as Teamspeak, Forum posts like the reports, and attendance at STF nights.

I know this drives some folks insane, apparently, but makes a great deal of sense. There is no point is us organizing activities and have a membership list a mile long if no one is there to help us fulfill our commitment to the community.

I'm not saying that was what happened in this case, frankly it doesn't really matter at this stage as what is done is done, but this way we're clear for future applicants: Participation is a big thing, and we do take it seriously.
