I wanted to get away from using the torpedo in PVE because it takes too long to really do any damage in my mind. Unless I switched out the Spread to a High Yield.
I thought I would experiment with getting more phaser power and the link is what I came up with.
Thoughts and opinions welcome!

I never criticize someone else's build, because its what works for them, and its not appropriate.
I would therefore recommend swapping your CRF2 for BO3 to make best use of your DBB. I would also recommend replacing one of your BtS1's with another TT1, thereby in a position to always recycle TT1 for maximum duration in combat.
That's what I'd suggest in any event. I tried running a Tactical Escort with DBB's before, and I was very fond of it. It didn't do as much DPS as one running DHC's, but I did prefer the visuals and the increased firing arc.
I do agree that torpedoes are wasted on this ship.
I'd be delighted to offer any advice I have on understanding women. When I have some, I'll let you know.

Those would be my recommendations as well, as I always look to buff whatever weapons I have slotted.
(ie TS3 for Torps, CSV/RF for Cannons, BFAW for Beams)

It looks good, but you are wasting a lot of points in Starship Armor Reinforcements, and Starship Hull Plating the difference between 2-6 points is very tiny those points could be use somewhere else for example in Starship Inertial Dampeners.
Also putting 9 points in Starship Energy Weapon Specialization is a waste 6 are more than enough and final as a Fed you want to increase your Crit-Hit chance to maximum so I would replace the severity consoles with chrit-hit consoles.

I support the notion of grabbing Beam Overload. Usually, that's the only reason to swap in a DBB for a torpedo, and it's done in PvP so you can still spike without a torpedo.
