Hello peoples. It's nice to see such a large organised group of players. They say that the secret to friendship is finding people who are your kind of crazy, and in that spirit I hope that some of you are batsh*t insane.
I'm an old-school trekkie who started out in the early 70s watching TOS stripped for syndication in the after school block. I'm an oldish MMOer ex of a few raid guilds in SWTOR, WoW and LotRO, with all the soul destroying drama and general atavisms that generally accompany them. I'm a refugee of City of Heroes (RIP) and derive a certain comfort from STO's family relationship as CoH's younger cousin.
You'll see me in-game on the KDF side, piloting a crew of Syndicate Orions and methodically lining up the remaining Klingon doffs for those "Execute for Treason" missions. I live on Eastern Time but I work second shift, so I effectively play on Asia Pacific time.
But now I'm out of coffee. Dang. And this site is sooo big. Eventually I will figure out where everything is, and then I will haunt you all with stupid build questions and slightly slashy fanfics.

A nice introduction. Quite a history too.
I do remember my days in a raiding guild (WoW). Being an raid officer trying to fill the roster for 40-man raids, dealing with all the other drama associated, yep... put those days behind me. Ironically, soon after I left all of that I started STO and joined the UFP. 
I didn't get into CoH as much as I did CoV and later CoC. I loved the Mastermind as well.
