Hey Guys,
I don't know if the show was ever available over in Europe, but in North America LeVar Burton's Reading Rainbow has been a big influence in helping children learn to read for over 30 years, and he is looking to continue that legacy by making this material available on the web for children everywhere.
The initial plan is to focus on making all of the material available on the web: Thousands of time tested children's stories, and video journey's available for everyone.
I know I really enjoyed the material when I was a kid, and I look forward to sitting down with my son to do the same, in whatever format becomes the norm.
I know the UFP could use a hand right now, so if you have pocket change, make sure to support this awesome community, but if you have a little extra pocket money, this is a fantastic cause and one I can honestly say makes a difference.

Thought I would check out how this was going, in a few days they have reached 3.3Million and have had to place stretch goals. There is 29 days to left to go, no doubt this project will go far and affect a significant number of children, its rather heartwarming.
