I see that the space sets in the Lobi store are on sale. It's a good time to buy them but I'd appreciate advice as to whether or not any of the items are useful. All the items are "blue" quality and the weapons specifically seem to be mediocre, at best, when it comes to DPS.

So, your thoughts? Any of the space set weapons, consoles, etc on the Lobi store worth picking up?

Undone wrist lance is IMHO of one the best ground weapons out there, the ale damage it dishes out on the secondary fire is great, combing this weapon like Omaga riffe or the voth shocktrpper cannon, both of these weapons have done me proud. But if it's a choice of one against the other - wrist lance all the time

For STO, some of the quality of items is quite misleading, there are a few consoles in the Lobi store that can be useful. The Tachyokinetic Converter is a good console to boost crit stats, a two part Elachi set can be handy if you are running disruptors, the Bioneural Infusion Circuits also boosting crit severity and structural integrity. The boost to Dominion set to Mk XII is handy if you are using polaron weapons and a Jem Hadar ship.

Britsurfer, I don't think any of the ground gear is included in this Lobi discount

But overall, with the Lobi store, my advice is ignore the rarity it says and read what it does, see if it fits in with the build you are trying to make

Thanks three, I haven't been in lobi store lately , so I didn't know. Totally agrees what Three has said. For me I found the tachyokijetci converter very useful, but again it's down what what will benefit you

Thank you Admiral! Yes, I am only referring to the space set items on sale: consoles and weapons. They are 30% off the regular price at the moment.

I'd like to note that Rapid Fire Missile Launcher is rather nice for Small Craft. Not really useful on a normal ship, unless you're running a torp boat with projectile DOffs, in which case it'll reduce cooldowns like whoa.

Much love for the Tachyokinetic Converter though.

If buying them you will still have to be aware that those are affected by torpedo spread and high yield aswell - resulting that those skills will most likely be triggered on the missile launcher due to its lower cooldown than any other torpedo weapon .
