    I read a few articles about red matter caricature and you can only get it if buy the collector' s edition.

    I have found servals places currently selling his edition, amazon and ebay between £10 to 'to per unit.

    Is the red matter capacitor on a particular code I know to check with the sellers with, that hasn't been used?

    Any help or advice in this matter would be very helpful

    I ordered mine over Amazon US a year ago, just insure that the game is a new copy and not used. The Red Matter Capacitor will be unlocked when you add the collectors edition to your account, if I recall correctly it is not an individual code.

    I didn't have any item code when I bought the collectors edition at launch,the system recognises the product key and adds anything extra that you are entitled to one it validates the key.

    I got my copy of Collector's Edition a year ago when I can back to STO, essentially like many have already stated, make sure that it is a new or retail sealed copy of the game.

    Hi Britsurfer!

    The Red Matter Capacitor does come from the Collector's Edition STO. You just need to add it to your STO/Cryptic/PWE account after you have purchased it and received the cd-key(most likely will only be given to you when you receive the games package after they deliver it to you.

    I had a browse around for you and found this link, https://my.perfectworld.com/redeemkey/sto just go there enter your cd-key and you should find this item,
