    Honestly, I'm not holding my breath for this game to provide an experience with any real improvements over STO. Nice article though! Did a good job of introducing the subject to me, as I hadn't even heard of it.

    Ah them. Lolz. I highly doubt they got the rights. Paramount and CBS is guarding the stories Cryptic creates for Star Trek Online, otherwise they won't even allow them to post in startrek.com, join conventions, or still use their franchise.

    This NGame announcement will more likely end-up as a Star Trek like game. For one, their storyline doesn't follow the TAS, Comics, STO timeline, and those three are closely guarded. It's as canon as we will ever get about the Primeverse.

    Unless for some miracle, they decided to allow deviation from their approved Primeverse timeline. And let's not forget, the relaunch books are still soft canon after Star Trek X.
