Hi guys.

Some SFC guys have been talking about how it would be cool to revisit the good old days of frantic EF fragging. As a result a number of us got together with a few other volunteers and so far we have 9 guys confirmed for the match;

Might be worth considering Disi Gladiator too if the evening is popular, the more gamemodes the better.

I should be able to make it What version do I need to update my EF to? I just have the plain standard (straight from CD) version, or is there any mods or anything I will need to download besides the maps?

Thanks for reminding me actually Lycos. If you don't have the expansion pack, you will need to download the official 1.2 patch. I've included a link in the original post for the file.

Guys I've been thinking (shocking I know...), when it comes to team game modes, would you prefer to be all in one room on TeamSpeak, or would you like separate rooms created?
Considering this is just for a bit of fun, there are pros and cons to both, but I'll set up what the majority want at the end of the day.

I'm happy for before and after the matches to have one chat room, but I think it might be nice if we did have separate rooms available during the match which would hopefully boost the overall experience more than anything else.

A new map has been added to the list called Pro Faceoff. Please make sure you download this map as well.

The server IP and port have been added to the original post if you need to connect directly. Please bear in mind the port number is different than the RPG-X server, however the IP address is the same.
Also, a password will be added on Saturday night so that the event will be available only to those on TeamSpeak. This has also been added to the original post.

Finally the server is now online and can be searched for via the server list. The server is called {UFP}Frag Server and you are more than welcome to use it in the mean time.
Some of us are spending the evenings getting accustomed to it again so if you see me or other SFC members in there, check TS and give us a poke if you want in the CL6 room

So you are going to try and stop the Borg by having a seperate team speak room?

Before we lost internal sensors what were the exact environmental conditions in the other team speak channel?

Thirty-nine point one degrees Celsius ...Like a Borg ship. They knew their team was doomed, our shields were down and somehow they transported over here without being detected, probably because Elite Force 1 features neither a radar or a map.

The Borg have cut power to all channels except for Mullaly's office.

The Borg won't stay in Mullaly's office... it smells funny.

So LynxMukka with the above scenario how do you intend to stop the Borg hearing what you are saying? Isolating the team channel with a fractal encryption code perhaps?

But yeah I agree it might be nice to have seperate channels for the teams but one channel for between games.
