Hi Guys/Gals,
First let me start by apologizing for the slightly 'noobish' nature of my question. While I have (what I believe to be) a pretty solid grasp on the game itself, the fleet system still somewhat perplexes me, so I'm hoping someone can give me some advice.
I have 2 characters I play most of the time. The first is my Federation Captain who is in the UFP 1st Fleet. He's pretty much fully geared, I just need to get a few tactical consoles from the Spire and he'll be maxed (for now.)
I have a 2nd character who is a Fed-Romulan in the UFP 2nd Fleet. She is level 42 but at level 50 I plan to purchase the Fleet Ha'apax Advanced Warbird. As you can see, this ship requires a Tier 5 Shipyard. Am I correct in assuming that since 2nd fleet is only a Tier 4 Starbase that I can't purchase this ship?
If that's the case, do I need to swap my characters from one fleet to another? I would rather not since my Fed is my "main" but if that is what's required then I'm ok with it, I just don't know how to do it. The only thing my Fed needs are those consoles and since the 2nd fleet has a fully completed Spire he would be ok in 2nd fleet.
Is there any system to get temporarily invited into 1st fleet to buy the ship? or do I need to swap my characters? Again, sorry if this is a silly question, I think I saw something about this posted once, but I can't seem to find it.

You are correct, 2nd Fleet hasn't progressed to that level yet. You can either remove both characters from each fleet and fill in an invite request, or you can ask for an SFO officer in UFP-UFPK chat to do a temporary invite.
If you choose a temporary invite please ensure you are ready and have everything you need as the process will need to be completed fairly quickly.

Understood, thank you for the reply. I won't make the request until I am the appropriate level and purchase the required Fleet Module(s).
I might consider switching the 2 characters, I hadn't considered just leaving the fleet and then re-applying for an invite. Thank you for your help.

We can only process an invite if you are fleetless so even if it was permanent or temporary when you wanted to move you would need to be out of the fleet.

Ok, got it.
I think I'll just swap the 2 characters, that seems like a quick and easy way. Especially since the few things that my main still require can all be had in the 2nd fleet. He already has a Fleet ship and I don't plan to get him another one.

Note that if your alt still needs to earn fleet credits, you will have more opportunities to contribute in 2nd or 3rd fleets. The 1st fleet has completed all fleet holdings so the only opportunities to contribute are for provisions or the special fleet marks project that rewards half the normal rewards.
