With the advent of a brand-spanking new uniform unveiled by Star Trek Online called Odyssey, the question occurred to me whether we should also embrace this change and have our characters wear them.
If this is all new to you, I invite you to check out the official reference guide graciously linked by Dark and vote from a choice of three:
OUT WITH THE OLD, IN WITH THE NEW: ODYSSEY UNIFORM
I'M STILL IN LOVE WITH GRAY: FIRST CONTACT UNIFORM
KEEP IT AS IT IS: TNG OFF-DUTY UNIFORM
Personally, I find Odyssey chock full of callbacks, featuring elements from both the First Contact and the Kirk Movie Era uniforms and particularly fancy the colours of the new dress whites. Coupled with the fact we do role-play in 2411 during the "STO Troubles" I imagine plenty of votes for #1. Should that occur, we will follow the reference guide linked above for the future.
Finally, this thread also pulls double-duty as a roll call for our new upcoming mission next month. I ask only the the players involved to place a vote, and urge all players who want to continue taking part to reply in this thread with their character(s) before the following deadline:

love the new outfits Jason most deffinatly will be wearing the tactical uniform(jolan as well depending on if he is in torpedo mantince or other tactical service areas overseeing /helping with work)
on a side note ive run into some real life issues my responses to emails in the simm have been slow.....
long story short my 61 year old father is septic in the hospital any of you want to know specfics pm me here or on the sim site
EDIT: I love the current uniforms as well but the throwback elements of the odyssey set just tip the scale enough for me to vote for em

I voted for the Odyssey, as the SIMM felt that it fell in the STO-timeline/events pretty closely. Thus the change just makes a good deal of sense to me.

I think in terms of the SIMMs, and as Silynn mentioned how closely it follows the STO timeline it would work pretty well.

I'm glad to hear it, because the poll is now closed and the Odyssey Uniform wins by a large margin despite rogue divisive votes from people not even role-playing. 
A post laying out the new uniform 'regulations' for us will be created very soon.
