In our top story tonight, Rawrtonian Centurions have appeared in the province of Manticore. Our investigative reporters have uncovered that the Centurions are part of the 501st Imperial Legion, under the direct command of the Emperor's Executor. Neither the legion commander nor representatives of the Hesperian or Rawrtonian Governments have commented on the incursion thus far.

Up next, a very special sheep has become the object of worship for a sect of deranged Testificates calling themselves the Children of Ovis...

Ah, yes, Hesperian industry at it's finest. In spite of a brutal attack and what seems to be an unsolicited police action by a foreign power, life...and more importantly, work, goes on.

It's unfortunate that the foreign press has mistaken principle photography for a new film set in Manticore for an actual battleground, but that can only speak to the fantastic special effects of this new movie!

In breaking news this morning, the Royal Hesperian Navy, acting on intelligence gathered by Hesperian and international sources, has resumed it's blockade of the rogue nation Tropico.

A blockade had previously been imposed on the small country after their attempts to infiltrate what is now Satsuma were discovered. Several months later the blockade dispersed and the ships resumed their normal operations.

However, it is now known that Tropico, which has lain abandoned and decaying since the disappearance of it's leader, has been serving as a base of operations for the Alliance for a Free Manticore (AFM). The AFM, as many will recall was responsible for a devastating bombing in Manticore, in which dozens were killed, including Minister for Manticoran Affairs Sir Allen Tremain. The bombing has since led to an unsolicited police action by the 501st Imperial Legion, which has failed to capture the perpetrators of the attack in the 48 days they have been occupying Manticore City.

Libran Defense Forces, alongside Satsuma's assault troops, are also currently assaulting the rebel base, in a preemptive strike. This strike was planned, and initiated in secret by the LDF and Satsuma forces, to help solve this problem once and for all.

In a very short time, these forces will secure the region and destroy the enemy base - Libran is working with Satsuma to secure extra territory, for both Satsuma and a soon to be region under the rule of Hightower.

We congratulate our Coalition friends in securing the derelict region and their partition of the territory.
It is our most sincere hope that this will mark the beginning of the end for this trying time in Manticore
and that the rebels who have caused it will be brought to justice.

Due to recent events, the planned withdrawal of Imperial forces from Manticore will be delayed indefinately.
While the Empie has the utmost respect for the territorial integrity of all nations, it also has the right and
responsibility of ensuring the safety of it's members and resolving to any potential threats to them.
Manticore's location puts it in a unique position to respond to any such threats.
To that end, the portions of 501st Imperial Legion currently on assignment in Manticore will remain in place,
until such time as the threat has been resolved.

Representatives of the Imperial Commonwealth and United Coalition of Nations met early today to sign a landmark agreement between the two alliances.

At a special ceremony on the observation deck of the Manticore Foreign Relations Centre, President Adster94 of Libran, Kaiser Sammygm of the Satsumarian Reich, and Prince Noram of Hesperia officially signed the Treaty of Manticore, a mutual protection pact binding the two alliances in the support of each other in the event of an attack on either.

This agreement marks the end of a history of contention between the two former rivals, and will hopefully be looked back on as the first step toward a new age of peace and prosperity for Utopia

A Proclamation

On this date, the twenty-second day of July in the year two-thousand and fourteen, we hereby authorize the creation of the Duchy of Gryphon from the lands currently held in reserve as properties of the Crown. The Duchy of Gryphon shall range from the west bank of the Manticore River eastward until meeting the borders of Hesperia herself and from the northern border of our lands in the Great Northern Desert southward, again until meeting Hesperia.

In recognition of the Royal Blood which we share, and of long and dutiful service to the Crown, we name our brother, known by the name MooseyFate, as the first Duke of Gryphon, to be held by his heirs in perpetuity, with all the rights and privileges according.

These lands shall henceforth be considered also a province of the Principality of Hesperia, with appropriate representation in the General Assembly of the Principality of Hesperia and in the Assembly of Peers of the Principality of Hesperia. These representatives shall, in the former case, be drawn from the citizens of the Province of Gryphon within the bounds of laws and restrictions already established, and in the latter case shall be members of the nobility whose lands lie wholly within the province.

So do we speak, so do we intend, so let it be done.

In Manticoran news this morning, Crown representatives announced that His Majesty Prince Noram will meet with First Lord Cromarty and key advisors to discuss the operations of the Alliance for a Free Manticore and it's continuing operations in rebellion against Hesperia.

The Hesperian Ministry for the Interior is pleased to announce the completion of renovations to the monument dedicated to our glorious and beneficent ruler Prince Noram.

Plans for the renovation were made nearly a year ago, and included landscaping adjustments as well as improvements to the monument's base. The renovation has finally finished, and the monument now takes advantage of the latest building practices and materials, while preserving the historical significance of the structure.
