Historical Background

Thoricus leads back to mid 2012, starting on a few square feet of land expanding out into the nation it is today, upholding it's own religion similar to that of ancient greece in which the people hold deer to them. However strong the Thorusian military may be, the one true weapon the people hold is their faith, and their never ending devotion and loyalty to their King, Torinth.

I think that the Security at Thoricus' Shipyards is severely lacking and therefore is a Security risk to the whole of Utopia.

News reached Hesperia early this morning that one of our frigates, the R.H.S Triumph was critically damaged defending the Rawrtony cruise liner Rawrtania.

While on a shakedown cruise in the Southern Ocean, the Triumph came to the defense of the Rawrtania after discovering it under attack by pirates under the command of the notorious Captain Greenbeard.

In order to defend the unarmed passenger ship the commander of the Triumph, Captain Judith Winton, ordered the Triumph to position itself between the Rawrtania and the pirate vessel, well within the enemy ship's range and line of fire.

The Triumph and pirate vessel exchanged fire for nearly an hour, at which point a pair of ships from the nearby nation of Thoricus arrived to assist. However, at that point the pirate vessel began firing on the Triumph with an unknown weapon, which caused severe damage to the frigate and killed over three quarters of the crew. No casualties have been reported aboard the Rawrtania.

Among the survivors from the Triumph is Captain Winton, who is reported to be in critical condition.

Its rather embarrassing that you lot can barely defend yourselves from mere Pirates.

The Peoples Democratic Soviet Union of Satusuma and Domain would never let mere pirates get away with such acts piracy!

The ship is the smaller sister ship, currently out at sea, of the one currently in dock near you.
