Wow this is some really good news! After all this time of waiting it was worth it. As some one who was raised on ST:Voyager this tickles my geekness.

Great news, been looking forward to this since they first mentioned it, I wasn't raised on Voyager but it is my favourite of the Trek series.

Awesome as always! ST: Voyager, was one of my favorite series after TNG, so I'm optimistically excited to see what comes of this. The sound of an Intrepid redo in the game really makes me giddy and I can't wait to see it... hopefull they will also extend those bridge packs with interiors to other ships. Thank you for putting it together Cehus.

I'm extremely excited by the news. The new kdf and rom ships look fantastic. Need to see more shots of the Fed before I can decide on that one. I am really looking forward to the rank developments. I'm going to go ahead and call the new bridge officer now. Get ready for first officers!

I'm most interested to learn what the new ships will be and how they intend to make sure they don't invalidate the old ones.

If the tier 6 ships will be considerably more powerful then I really hope they do a good job of scaling the difficulty of events.

Alright! Strange Elf-pixie things, huge bad hair dudes, and the sleepy backstabbers!

I can't wait to finally get justice by shooting them all!

... On a much more positive and even keel, I'm very pleased to see the Voyager itself, the Intrepid class, finally get it's much deserved face lift. I just hope they also face lift it's in-game stats to make it at least somewhat useful.

Oh, and Cpt. Kim... I was hoping the poor dude would still be Ensign, all grumpy and disgruntled. He threatens to leave the fleet every time promotions and awards come around, and even has a few times, but then he always slinks back, even more bitter and whiney than before

If they have the same 10 console slots and similar stats to the current fleet ships, I don't anticipate any problems.

VA ships didn't obsolete RA ships (at least initially, the older ships tend to feel lacking on the whole as the game has outpaced them), and even fleet ships don't completely invalidate RA and VA ships.

They seem to mention new capabilities and new boffs at the same time, so I suspect most/all of the new capabilities will be tied directly to those boffs rather than the ship itself, and if the new boffs can be fit in the Universal slots on many ships, that's a bit of a boost as well. I'll hold judgement till we get details, but it sounds like there's plenty of potential for T6 to be a sidegrade rather than upgrade, though new stuff tends to be a bit strong when it first comes out.
