Good afternoon Sirs,
As I was browsing the forums today I noticed an ad at the bottom. The ad was for credit buying in STO. Being that {UFP} is a straight up honest, clearly by the book sort of organization, I thought I'd bring this to your attention. I do not want visitors to this site to misconstrue the fundamental principals for which this honorary fleet is based on by having an ad like this.
As I'm sure everybody is aware, buying credits from a place like this can get someone a permaban from STO as it is in violation of the policies for which we all agreed to when we signed up for an account on STO. This has also been discussed on the STO forums, as the devs are asking those in game who receive such offers to report them immediately.

The ads at the bottom of the page are generated by Google's AdSense. They are a source of revenue for the fleet. We do not control the content of the Ads.
Sometimes the Ads you see are based off of the content of this page and sometimes off the content of pages you have viewed personally. This is described by Google:

Google Ads is our advertisement provider. As such, we have no real control over what advertisements are displayed on our website. Google attempts to display advertisements that may be relevant to our website. This isn't the first time we've seen a credit advert appear. However, I think we can contact Google and/or Cryptic to notify them about the illicit site.

I figured as much, I just wanted to share what I saw. I do understand that outside sourcing from banner ads is something this site needs. Thank you for your swift response.
