    Definitely the TNG series of "A Time to..." has been my favorite. I devoured and burned through the book series twice. The characters and ships were deeply familiar in some pretty dynamic and interesting stories.

    A second would be the Vanguard series. I really got into the characters there and the story was quite unique and engaging.

    The Invasion! series was really good, if anybody has yet to read them. It's a 4 book series that starts with the TOS crew then continues the series through TNG, DS9 and ending with Voyager. Great series.

    There is a nice mix of votes going here which is great but no Titan yet Sad I love that series.

    I voted TOS.

    When I was younger I was really into it, but I got less and less interested when every novel seemed obligated to have a threat to the whole Federation in it and you needed to read other books to understand what was happening in another.

    I liked it when the Enterprise went to a planet, dealt with whatever was happening and then continued on it's way.

    I'm with you on both of those. The VOY one was pretty good too, I thought. As for the Titan novels I've only just started reading them but I'm liking them so far.

    I fear my vote doesn't really add to the discussion as I've only read one series so far. I never got into the fiction until after I discovered Enterprise. Since that show ended in such an unsatisfactory manner I felt compelled to seek a "better" ending in the books. I've enjoyed them so far but the real benefit has been realizing how many stories there are still left to discover
