Are there particular interests about Star Trek, STO, or anything you wish to share? Such as, are you interested in end-game PvE (STFs) or PvP?

Or older Star Trek games (Our Reserves division)?

Or even writing or Star Trek roleplay (UFP Simm or RPG-X)?

While I started playing STO about a year and a half ago, I've actually been away from STO since January, mainly due to RL "opportunities".

I have done quite a bit of RP'ing (Chat room, PBM and STO) and have enjoyed it very much. I've started to explore the current 2 PBM's, both look like they are off to a great start.

I like STF's, not so much into PvP although I dabble at it. Now that my toon has made it to VA, I'm trying to determine what direction I will take him in. Any ideas or recommendations?

Like I said, I've been away for a bit. One thing I do like is the update Earth Spacedock. I've not made it back out to the Bajor area, has DS9 also received a facelift?

Eh, not really. Certainly not nearly as long as most of you that I see here at UFP. I have lots to learn

If you are into RP'ing and writing, our UFP Simm may be an enjoyable outlet and activity for you.

There are a multitude of directions you can go. For STFs, we have regular fleet STF events. Wednesdays and Sundays are the main ones. But there are some "Introduction STF" type events for newer VAs. No experience necessary, as these wonderful events are hosted by our intrepid Elite Strike Force division members. Thus, every UFP team will have an amazing team leader that will help and walk you through each STF, so that you will become familiar with them. But besides that, these events are always great fun!

Now, if you really want to dive into STFs and push your Captain and ship to the limits, joining the Elite Strike Force may be for you.

Totally understandable. I bounce back and away from STO regularly, so I'm usually taking in things and getting re-familiar.

Not that you mention it, I don't recall if DS9 got a facelift. I know the decor and setting hasn't changed at all. But I do believe the Starfleet personnel got a uniform update. So at least they are in the new 2410 uniforms. I could be mistaken, but all of Starfleet across the game got the 2410 uniforms as a standard.

Anyhow, if you ever need helping, just give a shout out. We're a helpful community here and love to help one another.
