    That's the story from the Imps. Sweet and straight to punch. The horrible truth is, these "victories" they are claiming are not victories at all. They are war crimes. The tragedy in Medford, was a massacre. The garrison was only a company of Guardsmen. Young boys that have never seen combat. The Legionnaires stormed the town, and slaughtered the boys while they slept. They herded the bulk of the population onto the green, and them opened fire on them. Women, children, elderly. Massacred. This was reported by survivors who managed to escape. When we got there, the report was true. What we found was a barely finished mass grave. The town of Medford was 500 souls. We counted 378 bodies. Many of the lads in my regiment wept. It was dreadful business. Later, after we properly buried the poor townsfolk, we discovered who the butchers were. The 3rd Cohort "Wolf Pack" of the Imperial 501st. Knowing this, the 5th Regiment will always endeavor to seek them out, and kill them. There's a devil to pay. - Staff Sergeant E. E. Kross, Company A.
    The legionnaire must do all that it can to secure Cyrodiil and bring peace to the region. The Empire will continue to fund the legitimate government of Cyrodiil while discussing possible military operations to expedite the kind of results we wish to see.

    It is our hope that Cyrodiil can stabilize and rejoin the Imperial Commonwealth soon.

    If the Imperial Legion requires assistance from it's Commonwealth ally, the Sovereign Kingdom of New Scotland, the New Scottish Army (NSA) stands ready to once again bring law and order to Cyrodiil, complete with standard-issue facepaint and kilts.
