Following the botched effort of Turkonian intelligence to spy on a joint Imperial-Confederate meeting, several Confederate nations have joined the blockade. Libran has dispatched its most recent flag ship, the Enterprise class whilst Satsuma has also sent two warships to help maintain the blockade. Elysium has also supplied a Confederate class destroyer to the cause.

Cellaris has sent Heart of Vallis, the new Illustrious class battleship Hood and the Nebuchadnezzar to join the blockade which is currently in place around Turkonia.

The two Submarines, which were diverted from the original blockade have been ordered to return to the area to also take part in this new blockade. With this continued show of malevolent acts towards the members of Utopia, we can not see any other action then a permanent blockade.

Aggressive posturing by Ternukian fighters has led to Cellaris bringing the victory class aircraft carrier Valour to join the blockade. The Valour will provide air to air defence for all international vessels with Cellarian fighter jets running continual patrols.

It's clear that the international community is in almost unanimous agreement that change needs to happen, and it needs to happen immediately!

Turkonia's elimination of WMDs was a step in the right direction, but in order for this blockade to close it will need to address its militarization of the region.

I welcome my neighbors in joining our blockade - I too will be taking steps to enchance it by dispatching a Norton Class Battleship in the region and will be positioning our Star Destroyers in orbit to stay in a synchronous broadside orbit over Turkonia.

Our military base in the region has also been set to alert status, a status unused in that particular base since our successful war with Thoricus; a nation which is now part of the Imperial Commnwealth and who's government is able to join the international community as a respected enough member to warrant this kind of protection.

Laz heads invades Peace Park at New Turkonia City

Turkonian citizens reported a civil distruption at the Peace park today. A bunch of head masks of Emperor Laz Huang Shang-Ti of Novus appeared on the park.

Confused citizens reported the incident to the local security forces and park has been closed of for investigation of this vandalizm act.

Government officials refused to comment on the matter. The public is curious on what this movement means on Turkonia's future.

Today we would like to announce that TDF Alert Level has been reduced from Level 2 to Level 4 for the following Reasons:

1. As a sign of goodwill to other utopian nations to show we do not want any conflict.
2. Immediate threat to URT is significantly lower than before.

Due to this change in Alert level. Following Actions have been taken:

1. Immediate Recall of 7 Frigates of the 1st Fleet back to fleet HQ Docks. Thus Reducing the Escort Ships of TNS Destiny to 4 From 11.
2. Immediate Recall of 2 out of 3 Peacekeeper-Class Nuclear Powered Submarines back to fleet HQ Docks.
3. Reducing Combat Patrol Flights to 1 From 3 Squadrons. And reducing the Squadron size to 3 Aircraft From previous 5

We hope this will be a symbol that URT Does not want any conflict and wants peace with rest of Utopian nations

If Turkonia truly desires to be seen as a peaceful nation, they will address both of these issues by, again, removing the WMD and silo and by reducing their navy size in the region by 40%. Only then will we.. have... peace.

Imperial Rawrtony is pleased to see Turkonia finally complying with our... simple demands. Since the blockade, Turkonia has eliminated their WMD program and have now appropriately reduced their naval presence by at least 40%. Victory for the Empire! (And peace for Utopia...)

A review of our status of forces agreement with the senior most commonwealth nation in the region, Thoricus, will take place in six months. If Turkonia continues to yield to Thoricus' dominance of the southern sea, then I will eventually see no further use of this... blockade.

Today TDF Would like to announce the Decommissioning of 5 Defender Class Guided Missile Frigates that was part of the TDF Navy.

Have been decommissioned.

This is First step to replace the Old Defender Class Frigates with a more modern navy.

With this decommissioning TDF would like to announce that a new Class of ship being Commissioned today.

Ankara Class Guided Missile Destroyer will slowly replace the old Defender Class frigates as the main force of the Turkonian Navy.
