So I've been apart of UFP for quite a while now--kind of merged in from another fleet, but I never went farther on the website except to go through the initial acceptance stuff. I've tried to chat as much as I can and listen to others in the fleet (try to learn from others wisdom) while playing Star Trek: Online, but I've hardly got onto the forums here.
I thought I'd change that now and see what areas I can help with and try to be more active.
I've been a fan of Star Trek since before I can remember, and introduced to it when I was a young kid by my father. Much like probably most of you, I've seen everything and about anything there has to do with Star Trek, been to many conventions, and even had my picture taken with Shatner and Nimoy. I'm probably not the biggest fan out there by any means, but Star Trek started me off on my journey down the Sci-Fi road (Star Wars, Firefly, Farscape, Battlestar, and much much more) and I will never look back.
I started with STO back in the early beta stages, played for several months before having to quit for life reasons. I got back into later down the road when it went Free-to-Play and have continued to play it since. Through my history with MMO's, its the one MMO I always come back to. Star Trek is a passion, and I think STO is one of the better Star Trek games out there still. It's not the only Star Trek game I've played either, and have been playing Star Trek games since they were made for DOS.
Anyways, enough about me. I just wanted to say I've been around lurking silently, been around Star Trek for 30 odd years, and I'd like to see where I can help out.

Greetings and I hope you will find the community here has a lot to offer, always good to see new faces around the forums, while I understand you have been a member a while, I guess this is a reintroduction so to speak 
One of the things I have yet to do is go to a Star Trek convention, mostly because I've never had the money for it, they are expensive, but it's on my todo list, the Borg queen is at the London one with a photo set, but I'll miss that chance Q_Q

I'm pretty involved also in another forum currently, but for a completely different game (not Star Trek, but Sci-Fi related) and do a bit of media work for them. I thought perhaps I could help or do something similar here too. Not sure yet, but throwing that out there. I'm looking around the site more for now and finding what all UFP has to offer, and what perhaps I can offer back!
