Good evening, everyone! I am an Old-timer in the Pacific Northwest (State of Washington). I have been gaming since the days of the Radio Shack TRS-80 Personal Computer. I am a husband, a father, a son, and Conqueror of the Universe (depending on which game I'm playing). I've been playing in the Star Trek Universe since 1982 when I purchased Star Fleet Battles. This was before the Internet, personal computers, and gaming consoles. I also played Star Trek: The Role Playing Game when in high school. My name (Taliph Krattic) is from my D&D gaming days. I've been using it since in all online games. I don't know that I would consider myself a "hardcore" gamer, but definitely an avid one. I have been an active participant in gaming clans in the past, but took time off from active participation to have a family. Now that my children are older, they're playing games with me.
I look forward to gaming with the members of this community.

Welcome and thanks for telling us a little more about yourself.
I've only ever played Star Fleet Battles a few times and that was many years ago but it was quite enjoyable. I'm surprised no one has ever made a good PC version, I know there is SFB Online but you have to subscribe and the client isn't the most user friendly and the Starfleet Command games were loosely based on SFB.
