Ya know, this will probably get my lynched, but this isn't anywhere near as bad to save up as I was being led to believe. I've been a *ahem* casual for months now and I can still afford to upgrade my main and a couple of alts.

I would really love to see how it's possible to farm 500k dil. I can't even imagine that on one too let alone 7. Please enlighten me!

We did about 30k in about 45 minutes of Voth battlezone the other night. Honestly, there is no way of building up that volume for launch now, simply due to the time gated nature of turning in dilithium. With 23 days left until launch, it means you can do a maximum of 207k (I assumed 9k per day if you do the doff mission).

I started stockpiling the moment the rumours started, which I think I mentioned in the main thread as the way to offset any kind of expansion cost. For the vast majority of that time I've played once or twice a week for an hour or two (Teamspeak folks can attest to this) and between battle zone, Rep competitions, and events like Bonus Marks, Shuttle, and Crystalline, I have that on my main and the two alts I play.

Perhaps I was being overly flippant though, but in my defense I was looking at the amount of Dil I had scrounged in months of gameplay and had been thinking "This isn't nearly enough."

Oh, I wasn't trying to be critical, I was just in awe of that kind of farming power. Lol. I'd love to be able to earn any of the currencies at those rates.

Hey Cehus,

Great article, fantastic advice for those looking to prep for DR. Just wondering how you worked out the potential EC cost as being between 20-50 Million EC (Not questioning the reasoning just the rational behind it) and maybe the away team leaders could look at running events specifically focused on the Key Areas that you mentioned in the Articel

I'd like to second Cehus' invite to TS. Being essentially a newbie, there are a lot of helpful people on TS almost all of the time. Getting advice for DR prep, Dil/EC/Etc Gathering, Gearing,etc is very easy with the depth of knowledge available to you.
