I could use some advise on the build above. I took a few ideas from the Defiant build I had you guys look at and am still working on a few consoles that I'll use on this, too. But thought I'd get an idea of what my better options would be on this particular build, if any.

Why do you have a random AP turret in the back, when you're running all Phasers with Phaser boosts?

I'm assuming you're using 2-3 blue or purple Damage Control Engineer DOffs?

LtCdr Eng should be EPtS1/?/EPtW3, you'll get much more out of constant EPtW3 than the occasional DEM2. That ? can fill in for anything, A2Damp if you like it, A2SIF if you feel fragile, RSP1 if you need the shield heal.

Lots of single target abilities, is this for PvP?

Does the EPtW3 make up the difference between not having the extra tac console that I would have on the defiant?

It's for PVE and I know, I KNOW!, it would work better with multi target abilities. I just hate the look of them when they fire. Well, the torpedo spread is okay. But the scatter volley doesn't really impress me in terms of it's aesthetic value. I've got a couple boffs setup to run them though if I go into a STF or something like that.

But when it's just a PVE event like Fleet Alert or something like that I tend to go without. I clear targets so much faster than anyone else I randomly team with it's not even funny. Red Alerts I tend to take out 3 out of 4 on my own and help mop up the 4th one that everybody else is trying to kill.

I don't know if it'll make up for it, I do know it's more effective than one DEM2 every 120s.

Assuming one copy of TT1 is sufficient for you (Conn DOffs?), I suspect you'd do better with APB3/CRF1 over APB1/CRF3. That means your "strong" part of your cycle is APB3/CRF2 and the "weak" part is APB1/CRF1, versus APB1/CRF3 and APB1/CRF2.

Though ideally you'd have two Zemoks, and be going APO3/CRF2 and APB1/CRF1.

I went ahead and switched out a boff to the setup you suggested with APB3/CRF2 and APB1/CRF1. I also made the switch from DEM2 to EPtW3 and it boosted the DPS on the cannons up to about the same as what they typically are on the Defiant I mainly fly when I hit CRF3. So color me super impressed!

(ya know, as opposed to pretty darn impressed like normal, lol)
