Hay there fellow UFP members,
First of all please excuse me if i make mistakes spelling things right or i don't use proper grammar.
As the threads titel states im an Austrian therefore my native language is german.
So if you find such mistakes..... well you might keep them 
Moving on:
Well i finaly recognized that i am a member of the UFP nearly a full year now.
My thought: What the hell? I don't even know someone. Of course there are some names
i'm familiar with by now, but you get the idea.
So i decided: the time for my introduction is right now 
(better late then never, am i right?)
My name is Michael, i'm 21 and, like i mentioned on top, i'm from Austria so my timezone is UFPTime + 1 or CET to be precise.
At the moment i study Computer Science at Johannes Kepler University or for short JKU (maybe someone heard that name before).
My first contact with Star Trek was in the late 90's when i was just six years old.
Back then i watched my very first episode of Voyager and was really impressed.
So this experience kinda stuck and for a long time i wanted to be a astronaut an explore strange new worlds (to be honest: i would still give everything i have to do so )
Soo.. whats next?
Ah yes. My favorite character amongst all Star Trek serie is Mr.Spock. Common choice, i know, but i somehow can identify myself with him. My second choice would be another vulcan: Tuvok.
I kinda like the idea of thinking logical and often i need this ability to solve given problemes at the university.
My favorite quote may be another common choice but well..... i don't care. Cause i really like it.
"Logic is the beginning of wisdom, not the end."
As of other video games beside STO i have to say that i never tried one but i'm pretty curious about them and if i can spare some time i might take a glance at them.
Soo... i think its enough cause in the begining of writing these post a planed to not take it to far.

Hello, you should try joining us on the teamspeak channel, this opens many doors that a lot of non teamspeak users miss. I have found that using teams peak is a great way to get to know our members. There are some really great guys on there and its easy to get support and become more involved within the fleet.
