Hi all
I joined UFP a few weeks ago, STO being my first ever MMO (I was a console gamer) and decided that first I should hit the level cap before trying to do anything with the fleet.
So I hit the level cap just as (I think) it got raised this week, but no problem, that's close enough!
DISTRESS CALL: Because I'm new to MMOs, I'd really appreciate it if someone could spend a couple of hours on Team Speak with me (and in the game) to do a couple of co-op missions and so I can ask questions about some of the more detailed aspects of the game I'm struggling to get my head around.
A BIT ABOUT ME: I am a long, LONG time Trekker, have been since I was smaller than a Tenebian Cave-Crawler. I have tattoos of every ship from trek minus DS9 (something I intend to rectify) and have a pretty encyclopedic knowledge of on-screen canon (all Live action, TAS and of course the adoptive Star Trek movie 'Galaxy Quest').
Anyway, if anyone could help out this afternoon or tomorrow afternoon I would be extremely grateful.

Hey there Anthony, thanks for introducing yourself. Often enough, you can find willing candidates by simply jumping on TeamSpeak and asking for assistance or else, our cross-faction interfleet chat channel in-game is an equally good resource to getting assistance.

I have tattoos of every ship from trek minus DS9 (something I intend to rectify).
I remember your tattoo's from your application, they are brilliant! When you finally get that DS9 tattoo you've got to show us. 
If it's as good as your other Trek tattoo's it should be pretty rad.

The Battle Bridge channel will be your first and best stop for chat and strategies. Most members hang here when we are not involved with events. Make sure to join {ufp-ufpk} global chat in game to chat with members across our 5 in-game fleets too.

If you are able to I would strongly recommend trying to attend hosted events, a link to them can be found near the top right of the forums (the Orange events button above the clocks). All of the hosted events are run by experienced and helpful members who will be able to help you get the most out of your experience.

Definitely if I'm on you can feel free to ask me anything and I'll try and answer questions to the best of my ability. Don't forget you can also check out the Events Button at the top of the page and do some of the queneable events with the fleet that way you can get some experience. Make sure to check out the Battle Bridge because thats usually where everyone will be.
