Am I alone in thinking the Pathfinder is one of the ugliest ships yet? They took something that was sleek and sexy, the pinnacle of Starfleet design, and turned it into...

I like the look of it just fine.

Not saying that it couldn't be improved, and the downward curved pylons seems off. I think it has to do with the balance of the model, miranda, akira, nebula with the downward nacelles always had something up high to balance it out, the other ships had the nacelles placed high balanced out with the secondary hull being low (with galaxy it was saucer high, hull low and nacelles in the middle). I think if they were only just below the lower edge of the saucer it'd look much better.

As for what the Pathfinder has over the Daedalus: it isn't almost entirely tactical. While tac is a clear winner, I think the Daedalus has a bit too much of that.

I actually like the overall pathfinder design except for the inverted pylons which are an a potential deal breaker for me. I see the pylons are attached with the voyager hinges, do they also fold for warp?

I won't purchase though since this is one of cryptic's most blatant cash grabs to date. Sorry, I am not paying for the same ship with a funky boff and console layout a 3rd time. [emoji15]

Yes, pylons fold up and you can switch them out to pylons that are flat or naturally upswept.

I am planning to purchase ze stand alone pack tho hopefully in leik 2-3 weeks or so... coz my 5k zen virtually evaporated when I purchased ze vesta over a week ago an dumped everything else into EC to speed up my gear upgrades... turns out it was a rather wrong move... x.X
