It's sad to see you go but I can understand why. You've been a great colleague when I was a CO but you were an even greater friend when I needed it most. Enjoy your well deserved rest and I'll see you around!

I for one am very sorry to see you step back, you will be missed that's for sure. On a personal note, I will miss our chats, from the first one, which i remember fondly, to the last, both UFP related and our more "enlightening" conversations. :emoticon_ShiftyEyes

The support you gave me when i took my first steps into command can never be explained in a mere paragraph, i'd like to think i definitely used your style of leadership as a template to how i led, hopefully i did it justice, i found you a great source of support and information and, more importantly, a friend.

Farewell mate, the next time i am in space dock and propping up the bar, i shall have a drink in your honor

Oh, and enjoy Disney World, its a blast.

Ditto to all the above. I've been resigned from my administrative duties for a while now for similar reasons (life balance) and it was sad/mad/whatever, but it had to be done. Unfortunately in your case, you're not leaving behind a shadow of a raging firehose like me - you're leaving a legacy that will be sorely missed.

So go do good things, be awesome, and enjoy yourself. Hopefully we'll see you around, even the hermits like me. Cheers mate!

Thank you for all the work you have put in over the years Mike and some of the advice you have personally given. It'll still be good to see you around, so it's not a full farewell, hopefully we will still interact from time to time! Anyway, best of luck with everything going on and enjoy yourself

Sad to see you go Mike: Even when I didn't work directly with you I know the even keel message often came through your officers. Many a Jake Tyler conversation started with "Well, Mikester said...", and I can't help but see that as a sign of a respect. I know we're not supposed to have favourites, as it is kindof unprofessional, but that is sort of my thing I guess.

Even if I didn't agree with everything you have said or done, I know it was always well thought out, highly debated, and a decision was derived that was the best thing to do. I have a great deal of respect for that and really appreciate the simply unbelievable amount of time and effort you've put into this community.

Glad to hear everything is going well for you and your boyfriend, and I wish you all the happiness in the world!

(Oh, and enjoy Disney!)
