Seems I got to this a little late. Sad to see you go into retirement, you've always been very professional, considerate and honest with me. Have fun, i'm sure we'll see you back in the administrative chair in a few years or so. When things settle down. Though speaking to graduates I gathered that if anything... things speed up. So maybe not. Either way remember to have fun, and that the only cure for a hangover is don't give yourself any time to sober up. Its also noteworthy to share that a double in a bar will cost you £4.00 but a double at home will only cost you around £1.40.

Haven't had a chance to comment but I just wanted to thank you all for the kind words, I am so very much touched by what some of you have said.
I intend and hope to be a very active retired admiral, so if all goes as planned.. you will all still see me around. I don't think I could ever say good bye for good, too many great people here.

Allthough we haven't worked together as much as I would've liked to, the times that we did, I enjoyed. Thank you Mike for all the hard work and dedication that you have put in over time!
