At it's core, this is what Star Trek is about. This is what Trek is missing in its current state. The best Star Trek is introspective. I hope that somehow Star Trek can return to a form that is brave again. I miss feeling proud of it. Caution: There are some hard images in this film! Thank you John Michals for the link.

This is a pretty amazing video, well put together, hard hitting at points.

With everything that is going at the moment in the world, I can only hope that mankind will grow up in the future and understands that it is better to work together than against each other.

"But should not the feelings run just as deep, regardless of who has died"
This certainly is a powerful video. It contains some genuinely great quotes and scenes. The devastating snapshots of horror and of human nature really add to the message. Thanks for posting this!

I'll admit as the video first started and they began with some very heavy images I almost turned it off. I've seen my share of that part of humanity up close, and see more than enough of it all the time that didn't really feel like watching it again.
However, I stayed the course, and I'm glad I did.
A very well done film, and I totally agree that this part of Star Trek is missing right now. I have been a strong proponent of the new films, but this makes me stop and think, which I can really appreciate.
Thanks for posting it!

I agree this is quite a powerful well composed video. I love the message as graphic as it is. It proves a point and rallies our though to hope for a better future. I agree though that the current Star Trek movies seems to miss this aspect. I hope at some point the franchise will come back to it's roots instead of being a lensflare exposition of pew pew adventures.
