Figured I'd address a few things about me.
You might've known or not, but I've been dealing with the loss of my grandfather and my uncle back in November. I also suffered a pretty serious injury at my job back then as well. This added to my frustrations (with the above) as until recently, I wasn't exactly sure what I was dealing with. Combine the two and I wasn't really a good person to be around. Hence until recently, I've been a bit of... Well, I was an *******. And I realize I've acted as improperly in all aspects of my life. To those I said inappropriate or terrible things to, I apologize. I would hope you forgive me, but I wouldn't blame you if you didn't. No, they weren't that bad, but to me I expect better of myself.
That injury I mentioned early is worse than I realized or understood. As you can guess, I'm still dealing with it. What I found out is that I damaged the nerves and vertebrae in my neck from C5 to C8. Due to the injury I currently don't have full use of my arms and a few minor things. I'm not able to describe it well, but my arms work fine. If we mean normal movements and actions. However, they feel heavy, fatigued and there is a certain numbness that has been there since the incident. So as you can guess, unless I can automate a good deal of play, I can't exactly play STO for long periods of time. Hopefully I'll see some improvement in the next two weeks and I don't need to take that leave of absence.
Anyways, just thought you should know what's going on. Also, thanks for the birthday wishes, I saw that.

Hey Gamer!
Sorry to hear about all of your real life troubles. It is something just about everyone goes through, but usually life has the common decency to spread it out a lot more Glad to hear things are coming back together for you!
Don't worry about game time or anything like that, focus on you and your family and you'll be better and happier for it.
Heck, could even watch some Star Trek. Remember when people used to do that?

So I've been told, but yes. I would've appreciated the common decency of life to not drop that all on me at once. Combine those with just how frustrated I am with other aspects of life and I sort of broke. I am doing better, somewhat, right now. Hence the post. And by "the post", I meant this one.
And I actually have watched some Star Trek. So thanks for the suggestion. I think, though I'll need to double check netflix, that I'm starting season 3 of DS9. I'm thinking of trying Voyager and Enterprise when I'm done DS9, though I am dreading this thought, because. Well, Voyager and Enterprise didn't sit well with me. But I figured I'd go for the full value of the Star Trek lore and see how it works. Now that it is years removed from those shows.
I've got some errands and stuff to run this morning, but you'll likely see me on today for longer than like 30 minutes. I am finally doing better pain wise, though I am still having the issue with arms don't feel right. MRI coming up for that, so we'll see what happens there.
Anyways, thanks Kains and everyone for being a swell bunch of people. I actually miss you guys, so I'm damn well going to try playing longer than 30 minutes today when I'm done my errands today.
