My account was hacked while I was on the road. Not sure exactly when it happend. But my main character (five years old) is thankfully intact for the most part. Did lose some some stuff and EC, but nothing I can't replace. Anyway, they also removed the character from the fleet. Do I need to do another fleet invite form for my main character?
BTW, loving the new T6 ship I got for the 5th anniversary. I had enough Lobi saved up from over the years to get the new ship for my main and my secondary characters. I love the look of it. Whoever designed that ship is obviously an Alien franchise fan.

Sorry to hear about what happened, that's really bad but so long as no major damage was done, that's a plus! I would recommend put Cryptic account guard on, it may occasionally forget your PC or ask for validation when your password changes, but it does add a layer of security so long as you have access to your email 
And I would suggest putting in a new invite, it helps for record keeping.

I too am very sorry to hear your account got hacked. It's always the worst feeling in the world. I do hope you've reached out to Cryptic. Also, I'm with Three, I cannot recommend enough enabling Cryptic's Account Guard.

Yeah, I had contacted Cryptic. I did change my password and activated the account guard. I had first noticed it while I was on the road. About a week ago. I am able from time to time to login into the game and make some quick checks of the DOFF missions. Didn't notice the leaving of the fleet til today when I was looking for fleet events in game.
But, yeah, Cryptic did their part and helped me replace some of the things that weren't so easily aquired or was a limited event. Cryptic said the items were sold for EC. So, I think they were after my EC.
I will send a new fleet invite. Hopefully, this won't happen again. I will be watching my account more closely while on the road.

I'm sorry to hear this happened Machocyclone, I've been hacked before (not in STO) but in other games and it's a frightening and worrying experience.
