I've been playing since beta, took a few breaks as most people do, but am back now and have been looking for a good group since my last fleet kinda went dead. I came here with a group I played with through warhammer then champions then to here but most of them have moved on. I was a top 10 guild WoW player and a top Rift and Warhammer guild so I am no stranger to hardcore gaming.

UFP has fleets in Star Trek Online and we also support other games.

STO closed/open Beta, there was a UFP fleet in Beta but I'm not sure if it's the same one, I moved to the fleet my friends were in afterwards but they've moved on a while ago to another game.

The Community was established way back in 2002 they have been around since the Bridge Commander days~ I am pretty sure that they have quite a presence on STO beta~

That's cool, I remember UFP having an open fleet in beta but I didn't know if the name carried forward. (this is like the 5 1/2 year anniversary for me lol). I'm gonna dl teamspeak soon, new gaming laptop haven't needed to use it yet.

Yeah I remember the days back to when Klingons had to pvp for xp, there were no doffs, level cap was 40, cruisers couldn't turn at all, del taco shuttles were everywhere, dilithium wasn't even a thing, and the biggest money maker was tribble breeding, and the best impulse engine was a mark iv that had +5 impulse, +5 weapons, and +5 shields. Oh yeah and the Crystalline entity was indestructable unless you had a top level ship slam into it and self destruct. And you could self destruct at Earth Dock and blow up all the low levels.

self destruct was around for quite a while, it was used for a lot of pve and pvp group missions, they disabled it in certain areas though. It was also good because originally it bugged so often blowing yourself up was like a reset button.
