Hi, I'm Mike, new to the community, and not good at these talk about yourself things, but here goes.
I'm 35, from North New Jersey, USA, just outside of New York City, I pretty much consider myself a New Yorker as I go there often. I am a computer geek, a movie buff, and something of a extreme left political activist. I have had various jobs in IT over the years, and several in politics and working on campaigns, and have met two Presidents.
I have been playing Star Trek Online for over three years. My main characters handle is Mikela@geekguy79. I have two alt chars as well, but I don't really spend much time on them anymore, they now only exist to run the Voth ground bz to earn extra daily dilith. I am very experienced, almost finished maxing out all my spec trees, and like to do alot of advanced and elite PvE Queues, both space and ground, equally good at both. I am an engineer, currently flying a FED Intel Eclipse battlecruiser, and doing about 35k dps, while also being very tanky and survivable at same time, and doing so without any plasma doping or armor pen so the nerfs/fixes to those won't drop me at all.
Um, don know what else to say. Hi all. My favorite series was Voyager, tho I loved all of them, I've been a Star Trek fan since I was a little kid.
My hobbies are mainly sitting in front of my laptop for far too many hours per day, watching movies, and a bit of amateur photography, which some of my work can be seen at https://www.flickr.com/photos/xpgeek/sets/

Hi Mike, welcome! We do lots of advanced and elite PvE Queues, both space and ground and as May suggested you should check our events calendar... I'm sure you'll find something of interest. Also, you may consider participating in ESF events and eventually joining ESF. It is the right place for active players who like both ground and space combat. You can find more details here.
