Hi!

I need advice about what space set should I plan for my new shiny ship The ship us a T5U Defiant.

I use 3 Dual Heavy Cannons and 1 Quantum Torp in front

2 turrets (one of them will be soon the bio-molecular one from undine wep set) and Borg Cutting Beam at the back.

Currently I have an elite fleet warp core + solane hybrid set (3/4)

Should I stick with solane set or should I go for any other? I read a lot of stuff about this on forums.

What seems legit for me is the assimilated set (2/3): engines + deflector and an elite fleet resilient shield
The nukara set (3/3), cause it gives me damage bonus and has a good resilient shield too.
or nukara set (2/3) + romulan prototype engine
and also the solane set seems good just not give as much hull healing as the assimilated set would give.
and at last there is a maco or adapted maco? set, the one which gives me 25% torpedo bonus..

any thoughts?

Adapted MACO is pointless unless you're a torpedo boat, which you're not. It'd only buff one out of seven weapons.
Considering the ship will have a ton of Tactical stations, I'm assuming you're going to be cycling attack patterns and CSV a lot. That means the Romulan Engines are great. The Nukara 2-piece after that will buff damage, and the Nukara shield is Resilient, which is good.

Alternatively, you could get the Borg two-piece instead, but since it's a Regenerative shield I'm not sure how much more survivable that would be.

Another alternative would be the Delta Deflector, Romulan Engines, Fleet Resilient [Cap]x2[Adapt][ResB] shield. That actually has the ever important Romulan Engine boost to Attack Patterns, the strongest shield in the game, and a very good defensive deflector. CC Deflector would be the offensive version, but I think it's less effective than the Delta in terms of making an impact on your ship.

I actually wanted to mention weapons, though. It sounds like you're using Phasers. If you're willing to go off-canon, I'd go with Antiproton DHCs, turrets, KCB, and that new Antiproton "torpedo" from the upcoming event. You would be ignoring torpedo skills anyway, and this way it'll at least benefit from your tactical consoles, and let yo make use of that extra(?) BOff station for a Torp Spread.

Thank you, you helped a lot! Yes I use phasers, but fleet elite ones so they give bonus to shields.
