So on MSN, I and Central Plexus were talking, it was about Medieval II: Total War. We were about to have a game, but we didn't. It was through Hamachi, but something came through my mind.
The idea came also, further back when I, Central Plexus and Klaw were talking about Medieval II: Total War and Klaw proposed a non-Star Trek game night but that never happened. I decided to take it to the next level.
This proposal is for a Non-Star Trek gaming division within the {UFP} dedicated to the Total War series. We will play through Hamachi on LAN so people don't have problems with GameSpy or CD key whatsoever.
This division will be the {HRE} or the Holy Roman Empire. It will be run by Starfleet Officers but the chain of command will be ruled through "Kings" "Advisers" etc.
The division will focus on the games Medieval II: Total War, Empire: Total War and the upcoming Napoleon: Total War. Events on the older Total War games would possibly be held.
Suggestions are open.

You have to remember that UFP is a Star Trek-only gaming fleet, so I don't a division would be made for a non Star Trek game. But don't let that discourage you, I am sure you can organize matches with your fleet friends over MSN.

if we could do that, we would of added Project Reality quite a few months ago

I like the Total War games a lot and try to play them as often as I can but I can't see us officially supporting one of the Total War games. We've got the non-Trek games board so members can organise and play games that are not supported so this should help you promote the game to others and get those that have the titles in one place so you can arrange to game together.

I tend to agree with Chris5626. I'm also fond of the Total War series, but I don't think we would want to support the game. We've remained a pure Trek clan for 8 years, and I don't see why that should change at this time.
As Chris5626 said, we do have a non-Trek board so that people can arrange and discuss other games that we do not support.
In the future, please use the proposals form in Internal Affairs.

I'm afraid I'm forced to agree, as, to my knowledge, this has, and probably should remain a pure Star Trek gaming group, perhaps, if it were a seperate clan for pure Total War gaming, allied with the {UFP}, and affiliated with it, but not part of it. As for non-Trek gaming areas on the forums, I believe there's already an area like that in the [CL1] area, and perhaps we could use that to organize LAN matches.
(Just a note, sorry I didn't show up after awhile last night, but my computer crashed, and by then, I had to head off anyway.)
