I would like to 1st off say cheers for this weekends open holding's that allowed myself and others to get marks in that normally we can not, I don't normally drop anything in unless I am looking for something in particular this week was embassy boffs I needed for my build.

I am not a hoarder of fleet marks, simply because you can never turn them in and have had to resort in the past in dropping alts into other fleets to turn them in and then move back to fleet. Most of my earnings have come from doffs commodities and dil donations this week I had to drop in 200k in dil so I could go get the embassy boffs i wanted for my build, and while I accept this, I do have one complaint and that arose last night.

It was something I seen in chatter in game about someone having fleet credits that they cant spend, yet they had dropped a reasonable amount of marks into the holdings surely if your in a position where you feel you have all you need and a reasonable surplus for anything new that may come you should refrain from donating and let others have a chance, I am not saying don't donate at all just don't drop in enough marks to fill the holding so that others cant get a chance.

Its a fair sentiment.

Trouble is, we have many many members all fighting for the same limited donating options. We've worked very hard to improve the opportunities to donate Fleet Marks, and we hope that it is having some affect.

However, yes, there are people who are donating simply for the fact that they can donate. It really is a case of "First come, first serve" and all I can say is keep your eye on holdings as they are rotating faster than they have previously.
