Mission Outcome:
We thought we would casually give Guild Wars 2 a go in our downtime from World of Warcraft. We all have varying degrees of experience with the game but have not played it in years, so it all felt fresh to everyone. Mack, Sammy and I started on new characters and were joined by our fellow WoW raider Caitranna on his higher level guardian. We leveled up for a couple of hours and even created a new guild, Lakeside Militia!
As a side note and if anyone is interested, we are on the Far Shiverpeaks server. We don't have any plans for serious involvement in the game at the moment but will probably play some more in the following few weeks at least.

Mission Outcome:We chased around Moria after some dumb dwarves who kept wandering off and getting lost. They also seem to be incapable of mining because I lost count of the number of ore nodes I had to mine on their behalf. It didn't drive me to drink but I did end the evening by jumping down a very deep well in search of some hallucinogenic toads!

Mission Outcome:
We continued our progress on the Glory of The Shadowlands Hero meta achievement in World of Warcraft (14/24 achievements done!) and then moved on to Guild Wars 2 to try out the Ascalonian Catacombs dungeon in explorable mode. It proved a little more difficult than I remember it, or rather it proved that I'm a lot more rusty than I thought. After a few tries on each boss we managed to get the hang of the mechanics and completed Path 2 of the dungeon!

Mission Outcome:More running round Moria and Syliatana the Elf may or may not, accidentally on purpose, have fallen down a chasm and died. She also got lost [twice] had had to rely on Ingorin (henceforth to be known as Satnav the Dwarf) to come and rescue her.
When everyone was safely ensconced in the 21st Hall, Ingorin decided he was a little bit chilly and decided to sit in the fire to warm up his nether regions!

Mission Outcome:In tonight's voyage on the seas, we decided to work through the first mission of the new tall tales. I'll avoid too much details due to spoilers.
Besides some communication issues at the start we got on extremely well, with the puzzles providing ample challenge along with the jumping puzzles (I'm calling them that)
There were also a number of head based puns mentioned by nobody in particular and we got to meet up with Captain Jack Sparrow who had to see a dog about a bone... savvy?
Looking forward to continuing this journey.

Mission Outcome:
Tonight was our first crack at the brand new Sanctum of Domination raid and we managed to clear half of the encounters!
As far as first impressions of (the first half of) the new raid go, I found the fights really fun. They seem to have toned down on just blasting players with mechanics on top of mechanics - the fights are instead pretty straightforward but still engaging. I'm hoping this trend continues throughout the rest of the encounters. Aesthetics wise, I can't help but notice the references to Icecrown Citadel, which is obviously what the art team was going for.
All in all, a really great start of the new tier, save for the fact that we could still use a few people to fill up our roster.

Game: GTA V
Officers Present: Three of Seven, Bedders, Lazereth
Mission Outcome:We ran a Casino Heist, which is not very common these days, but we had a good time!
First attempt, we went in with Bedders fresh from polishing his brain, as he could not work out how to time a card swipe, oops! Then Lazereth was having issues with a simple hacking puzzle, pretty sure he was licking his monitor in an attempt to solve it! After bagging some loot, Bedders got caught by a camera, and so Laz rage quit (or disconnected who can say?), so this required a restart.
Second attempt was a non-starter from the getgo, as Laz got stuck looking at a skip, and was unable to progress, restart!
Third time the charm! And it was, mostly, loot went great, in, and out, cutting out some priceless artwork, which surly didn't ruin it! We walked out the vault (well, ran, and jumped) and took $2,464,298 from the casino! The trick now was to get out, however, one of the cameras was stuck, stealth was no longer an option, time to go loud!
But we did manage to escape, my driving was on point, I only lost one tyre, when Laz took over, he lost the rest of the tyres! Shocking! After this, we took a bus to continue the rest of the trip.
I'm sure the buyers of the totally not damanged artwork were supprised to see three, well dressed, and amazing robbers rock up in a bus!
The heist was split 60% for me, and 20% for both Bedders and Lazereth, this left me walking away with a cool $1mil, and the other two got $345k each, very nice! And the only reason I gave myself a 60% cut was because I did all of the heist prep solo!
Here is the final score!
After that, we went to my penthouse, at the same casino that we had just robbed, they didn't know it was us! The perfect crime!

Mission Outcome:Tonight we moved on to the second part of the new Pirates of the Caribbean tall tales.
Again without putting in too many spoilers, we set off in a Galleon and we were able to find the starting location pretty easily.
However, after we completed the next stage, we didn't follow the quest line until Bedders realized one of our quest items told us where to go.
We then battled through puzzles, one way doors and various creatures of the deep to complete the quest line, with many a pun dropped and the valiant efforts of Bedders and Heyallo to bring treasure back to the ship.
I can't wait to play the third chapter as the story is getting interesting.
