We’re very excited to introduce three new Tier 6 ship options, each based on existing iconic starships. Starfleet will have access to the Andromeda Class Exploration Cruiser, which is a Tier 6 version of the Galaxy Class Exploration Cruiser. Klingons have the Negh’Tev Heavy Battlecruiser, which is a Tier 6 version of the Negh’Var Heavy Battlecruiser. Lastly, Romulans will have access to the D’Khellra Battlecruiser Warbird, which is a tier 6 version of the D’Deridex Battlecruiser Warbird. All three have been given a 2410 facelift, much like was done for the Pathfinder Class Long Range Science Vessel.




Items and Abilities

Each of these new Tier 6 starships come equipped with the Molecular Cohesion Nullifier universal console which causes damage to nearby enemies and provides a damage resistance buff to yourself. Both the damage caused to enemies and the damage resistance buff you earn are increased by the number of affected foes. This console’s effect is deadly versus fighters. In addition, while equipped, this console also provides a passive bonus to max sub-system power levels.



Additionally, each of these ships can unlock the Explosive Polarity Shift starship trait at level 5 starship mastery. While this trait is slotted, your Engineering Bridge Officer’s Reverse Shield Polarity will cause a large damaging explosion centered around you when the effect expires.



Costumes

Each of these new ships has their own new costume, but can also use parts from ships within the same family. The Andromeda Class Exploration Cruiser gains access to parts from the Galaxy and Monarch costumes and can also use parts from the Venture Class if you own that starship. The Negh’Tev Heavy Battlecruiser has access to both the Negh’Var and the Qu’Daj costumes. The D’Khellra Warbird Battlecruiser can use the D’Deridex costume, and if you own the D’ridthau costume you can also use its interchangeable costume parts.

In addition to all this, all Negh’Var variants (including the Negh’Tev) will have access to the new voDleH costume for free.



Availability

These starships are all available in the C-store individually or they can be found packaged together in the T6 Cross Faction Cruiser Bundle.

It would make everyone and their mother purchase them because not only are they iconic, they'll also be as versatile as you can make them.

If the T6 Galaxy has sufficient tac consoles, I'm there! But if they short it again like they did the Galaxy, forget it. I want a "playable" ship and not something that is always lacking.

The Dreadnought has 4 tacs so, I assume this one will too. Esp. considering it's probably gonna be a pilot ship. I'm thinking since the command ship has 11 console slots it will be 5 2 4 like the dreadnought is, possibly 4 3 4, possibly even 5 3 4 since the intel only had 10 and the command had 11 they might go ahead and add a 12th and start selling upgrade tokens for the previous ones. Always thought it was strange to get 11 on a fleet T5-U and 10 on a T6.

I think they'll introduce pilot boffs. At least I hope so or I'm not buying one lol.

Pilot spec & boffs are supposed to come with Season 10, which isn't coming Thursday. I'd expect these to be more Command-spec inclined.

I could live with a command/intel hybrid. I really am not too impressed with the Romulan version to be honest. I wish they'd release the stats.

You know, I just realized something.

With 13 boff slots, they could do this: An LTC for each type and specialization so far, Engineering/Command, Science/Intelligence and Tactical/Pilot.

The main slot could be a Commander Universal. Imagine the possibilities!
