    Today the next Dragon capsule delivered supplies to the International Space Station. Italian astronaut Sam Cristoforetti is pictured below pointing to the Dragon through the station cupola windows on its final approach with her dream onboard, a specially designed expresso machine.

    But that's not the coolest thing..the coolest thing is what she's wearing.

    Nasa attempt 1 at a Trek idea...the U.S.S. Enterprise shuttle. Never made it to space due to engineering faults and is now a huge multibillion dollar museum piece...now we have a red shirt going to the ISS, at least it's a DS9 not a TOS.

    But yeah it's cool.

    The Enterprise shuttle did not have any engineering fault. It was a test bed for the future shuttles. It was supposed to be refitted for space flight eventually but the design changed and it was judged too costly.

    It served it's purpose as a test vehicle. You make it sound like a costly blunder which it is not.

    Anyways, that picture is very cool!

    Yeah the initial design was changed after it was finished, it wasn't engineering faults it was changes so that was my bad, still it's a shame that it was named after the Enterprise but never saw flight.
