yeah I figured. I just wanted the thumbs down but I didn't want to give people bad rep so I was just going after the dead ID's from before 2010 in the cancelled or denied apps. *shrugs* I figure it's a victimless crime.

LoL I've been neg repped before, numerous times on this thread in fact. Someone told me the other day that it was 20 points of neg rep, which is only 4 neg reps, but I didn't get Spiteful. I throw out a lot of rep, I've just never given neg rep to someone. Well, a few old apps from a long long time ago. But you're Brit you can get away with it :p

P.S. neg repping me saying I'm done neg repping people means you disapprove of me stopping, not naming any names....just sayin' :p Frankly I don't like neg rep, I think it does more harm than good unless it's something outrageous, and I know I said a bunch of stupid stuff when I got here that I regret but I do know that getting a neg rep for something negates 10 positive reps from people who have lvl 0 rep power from guides so I know how it makes me feel.

And I do appologize the apps I looked at have 1 post and have been asked to change their name ect and never responded, people who look like they'd never be back, and I didn't consider that as a point. If I could unrep them I could.

This logic completely contradicts all the advice you have been given so far. Rather than giving negative respect simply to earn an achievement, use the respect system as it was intended to be used. If, as you say, you don't care about the achievement itself then I see no reason why you would actively pursue the Spiteful achievement.

It just seems to me that you're trying to justify unnecessary exploitation of a system that was created to compliment and encourage meaningful debate. My recommendation to you is that you naturally progress towards earning the achievement by giving negative respect to those posts which contribute little to or dissuade pleasant discourse.

I didn't say I didn't care about the alcolade, I said I didn't care FOR it, that's obviously the only point in what I was doing but I'm saying now I'm not going to try and get it.
