    Ok, so I purchased the Sao Paulo Refit-Defiant at 30. Now that I've hit 40 I'm stuck between the Prometheus and the Gladius and...my god, they are ugly. I was wondering if I stick with the Sao Paulo until I get paid and buy the Cloak-Refit, am I taking a big enough hit stat-wise that I should suck it up and pick one?

    Just put on the "Saber Class" skin to your Gladius at the ship outfitter and you have a great looking, canon ship.
    Plus i can fully recommend to buy the Mirror Universe Escort Retrofit at the exchange (shouldnt be too expensive) http://sto.gamepedia.com/Mirror_Univ...scort_Retrofit . Its a fine ship with some great boff seating for a rear admiral ship.

    Josh, I did it, I just upgraded the weapons and consoles on my new Delta recruit sci toon, I found it great fun, and a defiant is a cool ship. If you upgrade the weapons and console, shield , etc (I think it's mk x). You won't be too underpowered against NPC. I say slug it out till you get to lvl 50
