Office of External Affairs - Liaison Officer
CL4 - Tier 2 (Lieutenant)

The Liaison Officer (LO) requires you to aid in planning, coordinating, and hosting Joint Fleet Events (JFE) and is ideal for anyone with a passion for creating and conducting fun, well-planned, and large-scale activities that raise our visibility and influence among other Star Trek communities and new potential members. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy interacting with others outside our community while conducting duties and representing the best that the UFP has to offer.

Liaison Officers interact with a wide range of persons and personality types and therefore require candidates that can remain diplomatic and professional at all times. This role will allow you to use and grow your interpersonal communication skills, organizational and planning skills, research and professional writing skills, event planning skillset, and project management skills while you give back to the UFP.

The ability to think on your feet and quickly adapt will be necessary for this position. You will also be the primary point of contact with and chief representative of the UFP during JFE's, so a high level of trust and professionalism will be required at all times when conducting official duties.


JOB DUTIES

• Represent the UFP in a positive light at all times
• Help coordinate and run joint events between the UFP and other Communities
• Promptly submit appropriate reports after each event or as assigned
• Maintain a visible and active presence in the Gaming Division to which you are assigned
• The successful candidate of this role would report to Daedalus.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• It is required that for this role, you must have passed and completed the Orientation Assessment and the Administrative Exam..
• Remain active on the UFP forums by reading and promptly responding to threads and private messages
• Abide by the policies and procedures set forth by the UFP to an exemplary standard
• Is it a CL5 position? No
  PLEASE NOTE: If it is a CL5 position, the successful candidate will have to sign the Command Position Agreement before entering the role.
