Hello everyone! first of all, a little about myself, I'm from Spain, 34 years old and you could know where I live just typing "running the bulls" in google 
I have my "first contact" with Star trek when i was oretty young thanks to my older brother, but I grew up with TNG and DS9. I have played several online games and usually I keep playing the ones I have a good team to play with. Several years ago I played STO until I reached arround level 50, but due to a lost email account unfortunately I am starting again from scrach (better, IMHO, as I cannot remember a lot of the game)

Hello Alvaro! Thanks for the introduction and welcome again to the community! I'm sure you'll notice a much smoother levelling experience with STO compared to years ago so starting from scratch maybe isn't too bad. I grew up on TNG too and DS9 to some extent. What was you favourite series and why if I may ask?

My favourite one... ouch, not an easy question. IMHO all the tv shows have their good points, and, of course, their shadows.
TOS: the beggining of everything, the original ones, and counting the limited technical resources of the 60's an excellent show. the most charismatic crew, but the fact that i saw that show almost at the same time that TNG have put shadows over it, it's a bad show? no way, enterprise had the most charismatic crew in TOS, but not the best imho
TNG: the show that makes me love Star Trek, Picard have something different, it's... Picard, you know, the technical advances could be seen in the show, the plots, the scenes, if not my favourite it's the closest one.
DS9: Interesting turn in the Star Trek series, not a ship but a station, very promising in the beggining, maybe too much "war and action" later, is that bad? no, it's different, from DS9 i love the evolution in the characters and in the plot, but it's not my favourite.
Voyager: the only one I have not seen in spanish and maybe the one with more shadows and lights. In one hand you go deeper in the borgs and other interesting stuff, but in the other, it's the show i have had more problems to finish (maybe because I saw it in english and not in spanish)
Enterprise: To see the humans going arround in a "paper ship" with less technology and knowing almost anything was a promising beggining, but IMHO that point was not used the best way, I like Enterprise I think it have it's point aldought I agree that maybe could be done better, but if means something: TNG and Enterprise have been the only shows that I have had no trouble following without taking a break.
Wich one is the best or the worst? not sure what to answer, all of them add something to Star Trek, I cannot love Star Trek "erasing" one of the shows, maybe I like TNG the most, but that could be because it was the fist one I saw on TV but I would say: for good or bad, all of them are part of Star Trek

Sorry to hear about losing your first character, however starting over as a Delta Recruit is kind of a good thing. I definitely have enjoyed what I have seen/played in the new tutorial (Poor Captain Taggart).
