We saw some during the event. The price tag is ridiculous and the fact that if you shoot it before it uses it's rockets basically means you get one or 2 bombardments off before you die, at least from what I saw in the videos. For 9000 GE it just seems like a money grab, I did see about 5 of us get mashed in a bombardment on one map but the rest of the time my reserve tank could 1 shot them so, if anyone has any experience in them I'd like to hear it.

Since it's historically a medium to long range artillery tank, it's probably best to keep it that way and not charge into the frontlines. Rather, stay right back and use your rockets and stay out of sight. If an enemy tank manages to get through, then use your main gun on it the best you can.

My guess is that it was put in specifically for Simulator and Realistic battles, where spotting, ranging etc. is much more difficult to do, therefore potentially increasing survivability. I'm sure that a squad of 2+ Calliopes communicating with each other would be a very deadly force indeed.

problem is you can't swap between weapons, you have to use up your rockets before you can use your main gun. That alone is the main reason why I really don't want to get one.

Wasn't the case when I test drove it. I could fire and switch between both the main gun and rockets whenever I wanted.
