Can't connect on Hamachi

Problem Title
Can't connect on Hamachi
Specified Game
Star Trek Armada Series
Description of the Problem
I can't connect with anyone on Hamachi because my router can't connect on a VPN server. BT Homehub V2.0B. On Hamachi next to anyones IP address there is a yellow error triangle which then leads to a description of the problem which is detailing that i cant connect with my peer becuase i couldnt access my peer via VPN/Network Adapter error.

Some Questions:

What version of windows?
On the latest LogMeIn Hamachi?
Do you use internet security? example: Norton Internet Security, Kaspersky Internet Security, etc,etc
Does the BR Homehub have its firewall active?

My version is XP Home Edition, Service PAck 3
The Hamachi is V 2.0.2.85
I do, and I needed to turn off the firewall to log onto Hamachi
Probably but It is for the whole house, and my dad won't be happy turning it off.

first, Uninstall, then install Hamachi again, (dont re-install over the top)
restart PC, then try again
let us know what happens.

do you use a router? or have an antivirus/firewall that could effect port usage?
