STO Server status showing incorrectly on forum website?

    Hello, all.

    Just a quick note: I've been noticing that, whenever I'm logged into the forum website, the STO server status notification at the top of the page always states that the STO server is down. I've manually checked, and this occurs when said server is up as well.

    Might be a good idea for someone to investigate? Thanks.

    I chatted with some of the website/forum admins about this the other day. An op from the STO IRC channel runs a bot that does status checking and he uses this information: http://sleepkever.dyndns.org/workspace/stochecker/. If you look at the very first entry and the Login Server down towards the end, these are the two IPs that dictate login ability.

    Note: If both are on, it does not mean that you will be able to login and play. However, if one or both are offline, then you will definitely NOT be able to get online. This is how it was described to me by Sleepkever (the oper).

    Hopefully the forum admins can rectify this using this inf.

    I've corrected the issue. Smile The IP we were pinging appears to no longer be in use after the 1.2 update.
