    This guide has been made on Reddit and can be found here.

    The reason for posting this guide also on our forum is for the rather large community that is not using Reddit, and to provide and easier explanation what do you need and where you can get it.

    On the Reddit page you will see that he did his test with Antiproton Weapons but after contacting him the entire guide is also valid for all other energy types and the difference in DPS between Antiproton and other energy types is minimal.

    I don't see this as a guide, more as just a series of builds.

    I would really like an explanation as to why the equipment he suggests is the best one. I'm not a fan of cookie cutter builds and knowing what piece of equipment affects what would help me to customize the build.

    They're not builds, that is strictly part of a comparison between weapon mods based upon a few sample builds.

    That specific link is taking the literally mathematically optimal cases (hence things like "100% uptime on Tactical Fleet and Radiant Subatomic Pulse, 50% uptime on Flanking and APO3and 70% uptime on a 15% GDF and APA.") and seeing which combination of mods do best in those circumstances.
