Hey everyone! I go by Cassie, and I'm originally from the 12th fleet- joined there as some seriously fresh meat in 2011. I spent my time there in the MACO division, with a fairly long stint in command, and left for various reasons about a year ago. Since then, I spent a lot of time lurking on their forums like total creeper, because I missed my friends and the larger community aspect. The community is really what kept me playing STO and having been really missing that, I'm hoping to regain that here. Seeing all the familiar faces here was the final magnet in pulling me to UFP. *waves excitedly to everyone*
I'm known for begging and hounding people to play Mine Trap with me... because it's awesome, and totally understated. My success rate is pretty good, so if I start begging you to play Mine Trap with us, you should probably just save yourself the time and hassle and just say yes right away 
On a RL note, I'm from Canada, and live in Alberta with my hubby and our three kids. We're expecting our fourth around Christmas/New Years. Our daughter is very excited that she's getting a sister... I enjoy meeting new people and making new friends. I don't get to play as much as I'd like to- I accidentally started a networking business a little over a year, and it sort of exploded on its own. Who knew that making friends was actually a career path?! Anywho, I am really excited to be here, see old friends again, and make some new ones!

If I remember correctly, Mine Trap is the "Save the Romulan villagers" from the evil "Vampires"... if so, it was among my favorite actions to queue for... especially on my Engineers.

Yes! That's the one! It's so much fun because it does take a bit of coordination and strategy to do it well, but the enemies are easy enough that even the ground phobics can totally do it well! A few UFP members did come along on our run the other night- it was a good time!
