I am Seraph and another of those 12th refugees you've been bombarded with lately. I have been gaming since EQ: Ruins of Kunark and since have played so many MMOs that I have forgotten some of them i think lol. In STO, I have been playing for 3 years now and been a lifetime sub for a year and a half. My former fleet, the 12th fleet, is in the midst of major changes and instability, as many UFP members and officers are aware. I have been a member of the 12th since September 2014. I held the rank of Fleet Captain and was assigned to the Allied Task Force or ATF division because of my KDF main. I was also a liaison to the Star Base Operations division as XO of the 12th's newly created Department of Recreation. (something akin to the event planners of UFP.) Unfortunately, other than major brainstorming sessions and structure building, Sysil and I did not get very far before the fleet imploded. I do, eventually, however, hope to engage in those types of activities here in the UFP.
I am a very active player, who enjoys more of the social aspect of MMOs than the active grind and battle. Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy STFs, pvp, and the like but I really enjoy the non-combative events. Such events as Uniform Contests, meet and greets, allied parties held in holdings such as the embassy, and even mild RP sessions.(but i am not a hardcore RPer.) If anyone ever played SWG, I was an entertainer and that should let you know my preferred play style. I was even one of the first image designers on Valcyn server before the holocron ruined it.
In real life, I am a 30 year family man with a soon to be three year old. I live in the Midwest and am in the Central US Timezone. I have my masters degree in Museum Sciences and have recently returned to University to gain my Teaching Certificate for Secondary Education.
Other than that I am a friendly gamer than enjoys working with others to achieve something. I am also an avid fan of Doctor Who, anime, Dragon Age(everyone one of them), table top gaming and am an avid reader of all books save textbooks... I have to force myself lol.
