Hi everyone!
I, also, am a former 12th Fleet member and since joining I have been able to reconnect with some friends that I have not seen in quite a while.
My mmo experience has been limited to WoW (from Burning Crusade to current, though I only dabble) and STO which I started playing back in 2011 whereupon I quickly joined the 12th. I have tried Neverwinter but did not get very far. Before my online experience I mostly played the standard computerized RPGs such as A Bard's Tale, Baldur's Gate and The Temple of Elemental Evil.
I love reading. I've read all the Star Trek novels from the 80s and early 90s and have since read some of the newer works such as Destiny. I am also reading other series such Star Carrier, The Lost Fleet, and The Expanse. As far as fansty fiction I have read The Wheel of Time, Dragonriders of Pern, the Deryni Chronicles, The Hunger Games, and am impatiently waiting for the next book in Game of Thrones!
When I was younger, served in the USAF for 8.5 years, then helped run a family restaurant for 10 before going back to college to get my degrees to achieve my dream of becoming a teacher. Now, I have started my 10th year teaching middle school English & AVID to a new group of 7th graders.
I look forward to meeting new people in game and on TS!

Quite an interesting life you have. I'm sure the teaching gig is much more rewarding but I'm jealous you worked in a family restaurant for 10 years... I hope to own one some day. In any case, welcome to the UFP! Glad to have you aboard.
