I was actually going to apply here months ago, but... Well, I'm lazy sometimes.
I guess I'm another of the 12th Fleet "refugees" but I had sadly disengaged from the community there a while ago and it had become a fleet credit button for me to push once and a while before I decided what to do with my game time next. Before that I wrote the Nerd Abyss for their blog (which got mirrored a couple times by Priority One) and was working on a second column for the blog when it went away.
Otherwise? Been playing STO mostly since launch, minus a break around season 1 and 2 during my last WoW relapse. I fly the Vindicator, a T6 escort carrier, and I still cling to the really, really old DBB/DHCx2/torpedo setup for it because I think it looks cool in action and I get really bored with all cannons or FAW setups.
Real life, I'm 32, a soon-to-be father, and a warehouse supervisor at a national hardware store chain best known for free item coupons and suspiciously generous return policies.

I might be. I'm busier than I was last year when I wrote for the 12th, but it doesn't really take an immense amount of time to do an article or two every month. Of course, I've got my son coming in December and who knows how much time I'll have then.
